This is the buffet in the Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs, IA. They never said they were sorry, or offered to help in any way. Armed with free buffet coupons, we were ready display our gluttonous ways. I spoke to 3 rd manager 3 hours later who as if he could absolutely do nothing to help us as we are stuck here awaiting our truck, because we haven't ' played enough'. I called again 3 hours later and spoke to second manager who promised to call back and never did. He took my number and promised to call back.
I didn't 'gamble enough' I informed them security said they weren't aware if their security cameras were working and I felt this was due to their poor security and that is why I was asking, I called to talk to a host manager and talked to manager from harrahs. I asked for some meal comp coupons as we now had no vehicle to get food and was told no. The Horseshoe Casino was AWFUL about the incident. The Hilton Garden inn was VERY gracious, apologetic, polite and gave us a comped room to stay in until the truck is able to be fixed.
We called police, security, had truck towed to get it fixed. We gambled, ate dinner and went out in am after breakfast to find someone had destroyed the lock on my husbands truck, broken in and stripped out the ignition in an attempt to hot-wire our truck and steal it. We stayed at the Hilton garden inn attached to the Horseshoe casino in council bluffs.
